Waterfalls – Sloths and Blue Lagoon Tours
Visiting the most beautiful waterfalls from Guanacaste
Come spend the day with us and experience the biodiversity of Guanacaste and Alajuela climates.
We’ll leave the beach in our air conditioned van at 8AM, heading to the beautiful Llanos De Cortes Waterfalls. Here you can swim, jump in from the rocks, and just relax at one of our favorite places.
After drying off, we’ll travel to the Tenorio Volcano National Park, which includes the beautiful Rio Celeste. Here we will do a moderately challenging hike of 2 hours. During our hike you’ll visit the most spectacular waterfall in Costa Rica — it is a fantastic color of blue and a favorite picture spot.
We’ll continue up the river to the juncture where two clear-water streams meet – the mixing place of these two streams feeds the Rio Celeste and leaves most visitors breathless – clear water turning turquoise blue! The beauty of this place is enriched by flora and fauna unique to the rain forest.
After visiting this beautiful spot, we’ll drive to the small town of Bijagua for a delicious Costa Rican lunch.
After lunch we’ll head to the final stop on our tour — a visit to a family-owned “garden” that is full of beautiful flora and fauna and wildlife. During this easy 1-hour, guided walk we are sure to see sloths, frogs, toucans, and monkeys. After saying goodbye to our tour guide, we’ll head back to the beach in time to enjoy another beautiful sunset!
