In Alajuela, you will also find a lot of pure and lush nature. For Ecotourists, then, the area is perhaps its biggest attraction. This area is full of nature reserves and beautiful breathtaking parks.  There are also magnificent volcanoes to see. The most famous is Poas Volcano and the Arenal Volcano. These giants are still active. 

For people who love wildlife, this region is the place to be. On a visit, you will find yourself in the middle of the natural habitat of wild animals.  But for nature lovers, there is more. For example, there are beautiful waterfalls and other water features to admire. Also Cano Negro Wildlife National Refuge and Los Chorris Waterfalls are definitely worth a visit.
