Tramonti Restaurant was created in 1993 by its owners Gianni and Adriana from Italy and Costa Rica respectively, keeping in mind the concept of traditional authentic Italian cuisine. Each dish has been originally created by the taste and exigency of both of them for the good cuisine, which gives this beautiful and cozy restaurant its unique essence and homely environment in which the personal attention, simplicity and friendliness of its people complement the delicacy of each new dining experience.
Despite being in the remote cloud forest of Monteverde, Tramonti Restaurant has managed to assemble an outstanding menu specializing in traditional Italian food. Its specialty is pizza baked in a wood oven, as well as home-made pasta, antipasti, meat, fresh seafood and outstanding varied menu of the best Italian wines.
