D’amalfi Restaurant is the authentic Italian restaurant by renowned Chef Giuseppe Galuppo, better known as Chef Pino, located in Escazú, opened in 2010.
For chef Pino, from Milan, a week off in December 1993 was enough to decide to return four months later and start a new life here. In fact, chef Pino, who has been married to a Costa Rican for the past 17 years says “I was struck by the beauty of this country and the friendliness of the Costa Ricans. I worked 13 years in restaurants on the beaches of Manuel Antonio and Puerto Viejo, and I have five years of being in Santa Ana”.
