Outback Jack’s Australian Road kill Grill Restaurant & Beach bar was born thanks to the dream of “Outback Jack”, a peregrine who was on walkabout around the world cooking up a storm of flavors with his Aussie tucker (slang for food) when he decided to make Brasilito, Costa Rica his home. However, a couple of years ago, he decided to move again, and now the restaurant is located in Tárcoles, Puntarenas.
The Outback Jack’s restaurant menu is almost as long, diverse and varied as its name, where everything is always fresh, grilled and yummy, so it satisfies all tastes. Among its highlight dishes are its exquisite grilled tuna with an eggplant caponata, served over some spaghetti with pesto, as well as its awesome fried chicken wings or the lemon peppered steak, not forgetting its delicious fish and seafood in a variety of preparations, as well as their nachos, quesadillas and spicy wings, and even a full children’s menu, which is hard to come by in these parts.
Outback Jack’s restaurant offers a great atmosphere with unique and exclusive decor, as everything in it has been created with the use of old products modified in a very unique way. The restaurant also has a few tables set facing the beach, perfect for watching the sunset while enjoying one of the many beverages ranging from ice cold beers to cocktails. Outback Jack’s also has some large-screen televisions for sport games, as well as free Wi-Fi hotspot.
