The Bakery Restaurant was born thanks to 12 Belgium friends who decided to come live in the area of Cobano, in Puntarenas a few years ago. With the idea of living their dream, and survive in the attempt, Martin Glorieux and another friend (of the twelve ones), with a partner from Israel, decided to invest, and that is how the restaurant  was opened in October, 2009.
The Bakery Restaurant is a new concept of restaurant-cafe-bakery with a lot to offer, as all their pastries and breads are prepared fresh by themselves and simply delicious.
The Bakery Restaurant has a cozy European style, mixed with a fine Israeli-style. It feels like a little bubble inside Costa Rica. The whole place is just very lovely. Visitors will feel like they are visiting a fashion Café in Paris or New York, within the exotic landscape that offers Carmen Beach.
The Bakery Restaurant is a great place to sit, chill and enjoy the great food, as everything tastes as good as it looks. Amazing coffees, french bread and pastries look so beautiful all lined up, quiches, cheesecakes, waffles, bagels, croissants, cookies, sandwiches, juices and a fresh baked aroma that will awaken your senses for sure. And at night, they serve the best Pizza!
