Da Noi Coffee Shop and Gelateria, which means “At our place” in Italian, is a traditional Italian gelateria that opened its doors in 2008 in San Jose, thanks to the dream of Elena Barnabó y Marcello Polinaris, a young italcostarrican couple who from the beginning started to educate in Bologna, Italy, and taking all courses, from basic to master in Carpigiani ice Cream college, the most recognized Gelato University in Italy.
Da Noi Gelateria is simply outstanding, their ice cream products are designed with the highest quality, all the gelatos are made with 100% natural fruit, not concentrated, nor containing flavorings, no preservatives, no coloring or even synthetic chemicals of any kind. In addition, Da Noi ice creams contain up to 150 fewer calories than an industrial ice cream. Among the options offered by Da Noi are the popular cream-based gelato, fresh fruit, unsweetened plain yogurt and yogurt with fruit, among others.

The Bakery Restaurant was born thanks to 12 Belgium friends who decided to come live in the area of Cobano, in Puntarenas a few years ago. With the idea of living their dream, and survive in the attempt, Martin Glorieux and another friend (of the twelve ones), with a partner from Israel, decided to invest, and that is how the restaurant was opened in October, 2009.
The Bakery Restaurant is a new concept of restaurant-cafe-bakery with a lot to offer, as all their pastries and breads are prepared fresh by themselves and simply delicious.
