Introducing the particular and delicious taste of the Limon cuisine, Whapin restaurant serves a variety of original and particular dishes of our Afro-Caribbean culture, being the specialty of course, traditional recipes from the province of Limon
and shellfish.
In Whapin you can enjoy the tasty “Rice and Beans”, along with chicken, pork or fish accompanied by “patacones” (fried plantains) and yucca, all prepared with special spices that make this food so tasty. Other seafood specialties include the famous Rondon, the Whapin Soup , the Scobiech, and not forgetting, the refreshing Caribbean drink “Agua de Sapo”.
The Whapin restaurant has an excellent mix of passion for the Caribbean and its exotic cuisine, the result of mixed races and the culinary influence of their cultures and customs of the peoples of the Caribbean Basin.
Whapin is the Caribbean restaurant in Barrio Escalante. In one corner, the site breaks the order, referring directly to the Atlantic coast, which is divided into two rooms, both with good service, good mood, good music at lunch and at night, sometimes with live concerts.
