Getting to Le Numu Restaurant
The first step is to take the San Jose – Guápiles highway, also known as the Braulio Carrillo highway, which leads to Limon. Once in Limon, turn right at the Texaco station and follow the signs to Puerto Viejo (32 miles / 49 km from Limon). Once you reach the town of Puerto Viejo you must follow the way to Manzanillo, and there you will find Le Caméléon Hotel on your right, and inside Le Numu Restaurant.

Maxis is the most famous restaurant in Manzanillo, and since it’s located smack dab in the middle of town you really would have to be blind to miss it. This balcony restaurant which overlooks the sea attracts travelers from all over the world for large platters of tender.
Maxi’s menu offers a wide range of options with plentiful and tasty portions to suit all pockets providing authentic Caribbean cuisine, from grilled seafood, whole red snappers, to Caribbean-style lobsters, chicken and steaks. Sel and Sucre is a French Crêperie and fruits bar, located in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Limón, Costa Rica, opened its doors in 2009, and since then has become a total success.
The restaurant is owned by a man from Bretagne, France named Sebastian and his wife, who really knows about Crepes, as crepes are originate from there. The owner speaks English, French and Spanish, who always gives a quick service with an excellent value.
Sel and Sucre has a wide variety on the menu where each meal is served in lovely dishes, with that special touch of French elegance, so visitors can choose from lots of filling, going from a sweet crepe with caramelized pineapple, vanilla ice cream and coconut to a crepe filled with ham, rich cheese, and a fried egg on top, as well as a goat cheese, spinach, tomatoes and almonds crepe. Also, Sel and Sucre offers waffles, salads and fresh fruit drinks and cocktails, with two cozy hammock chairs to sit in while you wait.
The Crêperie Sel & Sucre Restaurant also has take out service, and offers parking lot, Wi-Fi Internet and excellent service.
