Pollos del Monte is a nice and family tradition restaurant who strives to give their customers the best product and service at an affordable price, located in San Antonio of Belén, opened its doors on December 10th, 1992, and since then has been a total success.
Pollos del Monte Restaurant was born thanks to the dream of Don Jose Jimenez of having a food business. Since 1989, Don José decided to engage in the sale of food in a trailer and went selling to various public places like schools and fairs. By 1985, he decided to build a soda in the garden of his house, called Soda “El Remolque”, which years later decided to rent, due to its success. However, the business didn’t continue that well and had to close. In 1989, thanks to the optimism and enthusiasm of Doña Ana Maria, wife of Don Jose, the business opens its doors, rising gradually. At that time, Don Jorge Zuñiga, posed the idea to Don Jose, to rent the premises and open a coffee wood roasted chicken restaurant called Pollos del Monte, as Jorge already owned another one in Monte de la Cruz, in Heredia. However, for personal reasons Jorge goes out of business and sells to Don Jose’s the chicken recipe rights, the brand name and customer base. Since that time, Don Jose has been accumulating the success Pollos del Monte Restaurant has today, to the point that, by 1995, Don Jose had to expand its facilities thanks to the amount of customer traffic from 45 to 100 people.
Today, Pollos del Monte restaurant has a menu designed to suit all tastes, where highlights its exquisite roasted chicken, and also has a variety of other dishes made of chicken and turkey, salads, burgers, tacos, children’s dishes, varied accompaniments, without forgetting its delicious desserts. In addition, Pollos del Monte offers both national and foreign beers.
Currently, Pollos del Monte restaurant hascapacity for 200 people. In addition, it offers a room for special activities with capacity for 50 people, private parking for 35 vehicles, as well as take away and express service in the areas of Cariari, Santa Ana, Los Arcos, San Rafael of Alajuela, San Antonio of Belen, Zone Franca Metropolitan Zona Franca America, Ultrapark and Saret, with a maximum of 30 minutes for delivery.

Pollos Raymi (Raymi Chicken) Restaurant opened its doors on June 2nd, 1978, thanks to a visionary idea of two enterprising brothers in law, beloved in the city of Belen, named Rafael and Miguel, of selling fried chicken with very low costs, and thanks to their delicious and very special recipe.
