The Bakery Restaurant was born thanks to 12 Belgium friends who decided to come live in the area of Cobano, in Puntarenas a few years ago. With the idea of living their dream, and survive in the attempt, Martin Glorieux and another friend (of the twelve ones), with a partner from Israel, decided to invest, and that is how the restaurant  was opened in October, 2009.
The Bakery Restaurant is a new concept of restaurant-cafe-bakery with a lot to offer, as all their pastries and breads are prepared fresh by themselves and simply delicious.
The Bakery Restaurant has a cozy European style, mixed with a fine Israeli-style. It feels like a little bubble inside Costa Rica. The whole place is just very lovely. Visitors will feel like they are visiting a fashion Café in Paris or New York, within the exotic landscape that offers Carmen Beach.

Lola’s Bar and Restaurant, located on the paradise Avellanas beach, in Guanacaste, is a meeting point with many attractive, and one of the nicest beach lounges in Costa Rica. The bar was named after the capricious diva of Avellanas: Lola, the huge mischievous pig who daily bathe in the surf of  Avellanas.
Lola’s Bar and Restaurant is an institution in the region! An outstanding place to see some iguanas and birds, which offers stylish and comfortable beach furniture under palm tree shade with a very satisfying cuisine, is indeed a perfect starting point for surfing, which is very good at this beach (the waves reach a height of 18ft), for sunbathing and swimming or just to relax watching the comings and goings waves and visitors.
Everything in Lola’s Bar and Restaurant is perfect. There’s just nothing like walking out of the ocean after a nice swim and paying for your ice cold beer or drink with a few dollars. If you didn’t experience it, you would think it couldn’t exist a place like this. Come in the mid-afternoon, order some delicious food and drinks (the fish is so fresh and their pizza is famous!!!) and stay for the gorgeous and romantic sunset, is just like being in heaven.
The ‘laid back’ atmosphere at this fantastic beach bar should not overshadowed the great service or delicious menu. The open air kitchen delivers delightful aromas across the whole restaurant, while the staff approach ensures reasonably prompt delivery. Visitors came and stayed for hours, sitting on the beach, drinking, reading or eating.
Lola’s Bar and Restaurant also offers massage and yoga, besides a seaside parking area.
