The Carabelas Restaurant, at Selvamar area, serves International and Costa Rican buffet style food located in a beautiful forest surrounding. The Playa Blanca Snack, located next to the amazing white beach of “Playa Blanca”, prepares snacks and international food.
Punta Leona Hotel has three pools, lighted tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, children&s play area, amphitheater, bars, discotheque, mini market, souvenir shop, boutique, physician, 24 hour telephone, foreign currency exchange and reception services, business center with internet connection ASDL- high speed, WI-FI (Wireless Internet Access) for corporate events in the Conference Center (upon request), in-house shuttle transportation, tourist information desk for booking day tours to nearby sightseeing attractions and car rental (pick up and drop off at resort).

Arenas apartment (Sleeps: 8 )
Equiped with 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds each one, 2 bathrooms, air conditioning in the bedroom and a fan in the living room, cable television, dining room, kitchen, fridge, fully equipped kitchenette, security box and a terrace with ocean view.
Arrecife apartments (Sleeps: 4 to 6)
Comfortable apartment with two bedrooms, one double bed in each bedroom, bathroom with hot shower, living room, breakfast table, equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, rice cooker, fryer, frying pan, toaster (no electric stove), air conditioning in the bedrooms, fan ceiling in the common area, telephone, cable TV and Wi-Fi access ($ 3.00 per hour). This apartments are located in a safe, quite and Costa Rican style private residential, just 5 minutes from the Chapel. Lots of flora, easy access to white sand beaches and natural beauty at just a few minutes walk. For 6 people the apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two double beds.
Arrecife Master suite (Sleeps: 6 to 8 )
Comfortable apartment with three bedrooms, each bedroom has a double bed, 2 bathrooms with hot shower, living-dining room, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, rice cooker, fryer, frying pan, toaster (no electric stove), air conditioning in the bedrooms, fan ceiling in the common area, telephone, cable TV, Wi-Fi access ($ 3.00 per hour). Master bedroom with walking closet and bathroom. For 8 people the apartment has three bedrooms, two bedrooms with one double bed each and one with two double beds.
Studio apartment (Sleeps: 4)
Comfortable apartment with two double beds, mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV, Wi-Fi access ($ 3.00 per hour) and a bathroom.
Condominium Bella Leona (Sleeps: 6)
Condominiums with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, private balcony, private under roof parking for one car, living and dinning room. The main bedroom has a King size bed and the second bedroom has a double or a 2 twin beds, also with a full sofa bed in the living room. All condominiums are equipped with hair dryer, a 32” flat screen TV in the living room and a 20” flat screen TV in each bedroom. The kitchen has stove microwave, refrigerator and kitchen appliances.
Double Chalet Apartment (Sleeps: 8 )
Equipment with two bedrooms with two double beds in each, living area, dining area, fully equipped kitchenette, microwave oven, BBQ area, one and two bathrooms, hot water, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone and safety deposit box. This Chalets are located 5 minutes walk from our gold sand beach and the center of the hotel complex.
One Bedroom Chalet (Sleeps: 4)
One bedroom with two double beds The apartment has fully equipped kitchenette, dining area, living room, private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone and safety deposit box. This Chalets are located 5 minutes walk from our gold sand beach and the center of the hotel complex.
Leonamar Junior Suite (Sleeps: 4)
Equiped with one bedroom with one king bed or two twins, queen size wall bed in living room, one bathroom with bathtub, hot water, air conditioning, dining room, living room with 25″ color television with cable, complete kitchen with large stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer, safety deposit and ocean view.
Leonamar Deluxe Suite (Sleeps: 4)
Equiped with one bedroom with a king bed or 2 twins, queen size wall bed in living room, two bathrooms – one with bathtub, hot water, air conditioning, dining room, living room with 25″ television with cable, complete kitchen with large stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer, safety deposit box and private terrace with ocean view.
Leonamar Senior Suite (Sleeps: 6)
Equipment with two bedrooms with a king bed or 2 twins in each, queen size wall bed in living room, two bathrooms – bathrooms one with bathtub, hot water, air conditioning, dining room, living room with 25″ television with cable, complete kitchen with large stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer, safety deposit box and private terrace with ocean view.
Selvamar Standard Room (Sleeps: 3)
Separate unit room with two double beds, private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, cable TV, mini-fridge, telephone and safety deposit box. All of them are surrounded by lush tropical rain forest. Located 5-10 minutes walk or 2 minute internal shuttle bus ride from our gold sand beach and the center of the resort complex.
Selvamar Superior (Sleeps: 3)
Comfortable and spacious newly refurbished rooms, distribute in separate unit rooms with a king size bed or 2 double beds, high ceilings, private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, cable TV, mini-fridge, telephone and safety deposit box. Some of the Superior rooms have also a terrace with forest view but you must request it for an extra charge. The Selvamar Superior rooms are surrounded by lush tropical rain forest and are located 5 minutes walk or 2 minutes by internal shuttle bus ride from our gold sand beach and the center of the resort complex.

Getting to Punta Leona Hotel:
There are two different routes that you can choose from to get to Punta Leona. One Road is the newest and fastest way to drive to the Hotel. The second and curvier Road is a little longer but it offers a very unique view, passing by little towns where you can stop and visit.
Directions for the traditional way: From Juan Santamaria International Airport follow the highway towards north for about 10-15 minutes, until you see an exit for Jaco or Manuel Antonio. Take this exit and you will see a sign for Hotel Punta Leona. Continue following the signs to Hotel Punta Leona, Jaco and Quepos, as you go through the towns of Atenas, San Mateo, Orotina and Tarcoles. The hotel is located on the right hand side of the road, about 15 minutes after you pass over the Tarcoles River. You will see a big sign and the entrance gate on your right hand side. This route requires a total 1 1/2 to 2 hours from San Jose, depending on traffic.
Directions for the NEW CALDERA HIGHWAY (Route 27): From Juan Santamaria International Airport follow the highway towards San Jose and look for the Intel exit on your right. Continue through the town of Belen until you see the Panasonic Building on your left. Here yo have to turn left and drive for aprox. 5km on the Lindora-Belen road (South) until you get to an intersection. Take the exit to your right towards Guacima and Orotina. Go straight on this road, past 3 tolls, the last one is at Orotina. After this toll, make a right on the sign to Jacó, you will encounter the Tarcoles River bridge and Carara National Park, stay on that road for approximately 15 kilometers until you see the Punta Leona entrance on the right. This route requires a total of 1 hour from San Jose. Make sure you have change to pay the tolls, which is about c1,500 ($3).
