Danta beach is a white sanded beach with crystal blue waters and lush beauty, of less than 1 km in length, located in the Las Catalinas community in Guanacaste. Danta Beach is poised to become a preeminent international stand up paddle board destination. Danta beach has steep slopes and heavy surf so visitors should take precautions, especially when the tide is falling. Its waters are ideal for water sports, as well as bathing.
Danta beach also has a lush beauty of natural richness along its coastline and rocky headlands at the ends with steep and rough waves. In fact, the Pitahayas Islets, lie just off the coast and can be seen from the Danta beach to the west. Beyond them rises the Santa Catalina Island, which lies 4 kms to the southwest, near Salinas Point.
